Ayodhya, 18th January 2024: After centuries of devotion, sacrifice, and legal battles, the holy city of Ayodhya witnessed a momentous occasion today. The third day of the Pran Pratistha ritual saw the sacred idol of Ramlala enshrined in the Garbha Grah (sanctum sanctorum) of the Ram temple complex, marking a significant step towards the grand consecration ceremony on January 22nd.

Only four days remain before the culmination of an era-defining chapter for millions of Hindus. The construction of the Ram temple at Ram Janmabhoomi, a decades-long aspiration fueled by unwavering faith, is nearing its glorious conclusion. However, before the final ceremony, Ayodhya has been immersed in a spirit of intense spiritual preparation since January 16th. The third day of the Pran Pratistha ritual commenced with an array of auspicious ceremonies, each steeped in ancient wisdom and deep devotion.

The day unfolded with a harmonious rhythm of sacred rites. From Ganesh Ambika worship and Varun puja to Chaturvedo Punyah recitation and Matrika pujan, each act resonated with profound reverence. Chanting of Ayushya mantras reverberated through the air, accompanied by Nandishradha, Acharyadigbhragavaran, Madhupark worship, and Mandap entry. The rituals continued with Prithvi-Kurma-Anant-Varaha-Yagyabhumi worship, Digrakshan, Panch Gavya Prokshan, and Mandapanga Vastu pujan.

Vaastu, Offerings, and a Pledge of Devotion at Ram Mandir Ayodhya:
Vaastu sacrifice, Mandap Sutra Veshtan, and the symbolic flowing of milk and water streams added to the sanctity of the occasion. Sixteen pillars were worshipped, followed by a comprehensive puja encompassing Torana, gates, flags, weaponry, Dikpal, and gatekeepers. The idol was imbued with life through water adhivas and Gandhadhivas, culminating in evening worship and aarti.

Amidst the joyous celebrations, a letter from astrologer Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati to Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, President of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, raised some pertinent questions. Expressing concern over the fate of the existing Ramlala idol, Swami Avimukteshwaranand sought clarification on plans for its veneration once the new idol is installed. This concern resonated with many devotees, eager to ensure the continued presence and significance of the original Ramlala idol.
10,000 Blessings from Firozabad for Ram Mandir Ayodhya :
Adding to the festive spirit, Uttar Pradesh Minister Jaiveer Singh presented 10,000 exquisite glass bangles from Firozabad to Champat Rai, General Secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. Inscribed with “Jai Shri Ram,” these bangles symbolise the blessings of countless artisans and devotees on the eve of the temple’s consecration.
Further enriching the spiritual landscape of Ayodhya, Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra has put up posters featuring prominent figures who played pivotal roles in the Janmabhoomi movement. From Devraha Baba to Ramchandra Das Paramhans, the portraits serve as a tribute to the unwavering dedication and sacrifices that paved the way for this historic moment.
