PM Narendra Modi in Nashik: PM Modi started his mega Roadshow from Hotel Mirchi Chowk, where he was accompanied by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, deputy CMs Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar and many BJP leaders. Thousands of people gathered at the roadshow route to welcome the PM.
After the roadshow,Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Ramkund, located on the bank of Godavari river, where Nashik Purohit Sangh offered him a traditional ‘pagdi’. He then reached Kalaram Temple located at Panchvati area to offer prayers to Lord Ram. At Kalaram Mandir, PM Modi took part in ‘Swachhata Abhiyan’ and appealed to everyone to carry out Swachhata activities at all temples across the country. The Kalaram temple is also known for a protest launched by B R Ambedkar on March 2 1930, to seek entry for Dalits into the shrine.

Later Pm Narendra Modi will be launching development projects worth over Rs 30,000 crore in the state. The projects include inauguration of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewari Atal Setu in Mumbai, it will improve ease of mobility by strengthening urban transport infrastructure. Built Cost of Atal Setu is 17,840 crore rupees, now it will be the longest sea bridge in the country. PM Narendra Modi in Mumbai will also launch several development projects along with Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde and Dy CM Ajit Pawar.
