New Delhi: Nitish Kumar has taken oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the ninth time. A total of nine ministers including the Chief Minister took oath at Raj Bhavan on Sunday.
This morning, Nitish Kumar submitted his resignation at 11 am to Governor and also left the Grand Alliance in the evening joined the BJP, and took oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the ninth time. Among those who took oath along with Nitish Kumar are three ministers from BJP, four ministers including the CM from JDU, one minister from Hindustani Awam Morcha and one
independent.
Those who took oath along with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar included BJP state president Samrat Chaudhary, two former assembly speakers Vijay Kumar Sinha (BJP) and Vijay Kumar Chaudhary (JDU), Vijendra Yadav (JDU), Prem Kumar (BJP), Shravan Kumar ( JDU), Santosh Kumar Suman (WE) and Sumit Singh (Independent).
Along with ministers, Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Sinha have also been made Deputy Chief Minister in the new government. Many BJP leaders including BJP President JP Nadda, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan were present in the swearing-in ceremony.
Who is Nitish Kumar's ministers?
Samrat Chaudhary is a member of the Legislative Council and the state president of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He has been a minister in the state before also. Samrat’s father Shakuni Chaudhary has also been a minister several times.
Vijay Sinha is MLA from Lakhisarai seat. He has been a member of the Legislative Assembly from 2020 to August 2022. Vijay Kumar Choudhary has been the Speaker of Bihar Assembly between
2015 and 2020. This leader, MLA from Sarayaranjan seat of Samastipur, is counted among some of the trusted leaders of Nitish Kumar.
JDU MLA from Supaul Vijendra Yadav is also considered a special ally of Nitish Kumar. He has been a minister many times.
Prem Kumar, who comes from extremely backward community, is the MLA from Gaya. He is a senior leader of BJP. He was not made a minister in 2020.
Nalanda MLA Shravan Kumar is also considered a special associate of Nitish Kumar.
Santosh Kumar is the son of Suman Jitan Ram Manjhi and is a member of Bihar Legislative Council.
Sumit Kumar Singh, son of former state minister Narendra Singh, is an independent MLA from Chakai in Jamui district.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on the formation of the NDA government again in Bihar.
He has also congratulated Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Sinha on being made the new Deputy Chief Ministers of the state.
PM Modi wrote in his tweet, “The NDA government formed in Bihar will leave no stone unturned for the development of the state and to fulfill the aspirations of its people.”

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav target Nitish Kumar:
Speaking to news agency ANI, he said, “The game has just started, the game is still pending. I do what I say, you write it down, Janata Dal United will end in 2024.”

Tejashwi Yadav said that he remained in power for 17 months. During this period historical work was done. The BJP and JDU governments remained in power for 17 years. But in just 17 months, so many jobs were given in just one department, the education department, that it became a world record.
