The BSP supremo Behan ji was reviewing the election preparations by meeting with officials of UP and Uttarakhand here on Saturday. After taking the progress report of the instructions given in the previous meetings, she said that along with increasing the party’s hold in the BSP Sarva Samaj, the party will contest the Lok Sabha elections this time by strengthening the organization.
She has instructed the officials to hold small cadre meetings every day at sector and booth level. This meeting will also be held in every assembly and the work of connecting each caste in the meeting will have to be done by BSP officials and district coordination.
She said that the party has decided to contest the Lok Sabha elections on its own, hence the responsibility of bringing better results lies on the workers. Mayawati said that about 81 crore people across the country are suffering due to back-breaking inflation, poverty and unemployment. The present government has left them dependent on government food grains.
