Ever since the news of Nitish Kumar joining hands with BJP once again came in Bihar, the
temperature of politics has been rising in Bihar, although till now no formal statement has come
on this news.
Meanwhile, LJP leader Chirag Paswan reached Delhi to meet JP Nadda and Amit Shah.
Answering the questions of the journalists there, he said, “Look, we all want to know what is
happening in Bihar? We will know after some time, it is just a matter of time.”

There are 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar, Nitish Kumar’s JDU had contested on 17 seats of Bihar
in the last Lok Sabha elections. If Nitish Kumar joins hands with BJP, he can again demand 17
Lok Sabha seats. BJP had contested on the same number of seats and LJP had contested on 6
seats.
This time, it may be a little difficult for BJP that out of 40 seats, HUM’s Jitan Ram Manjhi, Lok
Jan Shakti Party leader Pashupati Kumar Paras, RLJD leader Upendra Kushwaha also have to
be given seats.
After the split between Pashupati Paras and Chirag Paswan in LJP, Pashupati Paras calls
himself the real LJP. After the division, 5 out of 6 LJP MPs are with Pashupati Paras.
While talking to BBC on Friday, Chirag Paswan had said, “We are keeping an eye on the
changing situation in the politics of Bihar, a lot of speculations are being made, in such a
situation the Army will not be right in answering any question. “Once the situation becomes
clear, only then will we clear our party’s stand regarding the new and old governments.”
If Nitish Kumar again holds the hand of BJP in Bihar, then problems may increase for small
parties of Bihar.
