New Delhi: The Modi government presented the last and interim budget 2024 of its second term today by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on February 1. The Finance Minister’s speech lasted for approximately 58 minutes.
No such change has been made in the tax slab in the Budget 2024 presented today, which will provide any relief to the common man. No change has been made in the direct tax slab.

Development programs have targeted every household and every individual through housing for all, electricity for all, cooking gas for all, water for every household and bank accounts and financial services for all in record time.
PM Swanidhi has provided loan assistance to 78 lakh street vendors, out of which a total of 2.3 lakh have received loans for the third time.
25 crore people came out of poverty in 10 years.
30 crore rupees have been given to women in the form of Mudra loan.
Modi government has lost 7 new IITs, 7 new IIMs and 390 universities.
Central government has helped 11.8 crore farmers through Samman Nidhi.
What is special in Budget 2024 for women?
While presenting the Budget 2024, the Finance Minister said that the Lakhpati Didi scheme has brought about a change in the lives of about 9 crore women.
Female enrollment in higher education has increased by almost 28% in the last 10 years, making Triple Talaq illegal, reservation of ⅓ seats for women in Parliament and State Assemblies, more than 70% houses for women under PM Awas Yojana, ensuring their dignity has been increased.
What is special in Budget 2024 for the youth?
Referring to the Skill India scheme, the Finance Minister said that 1.4 crore youth were trained under Skill India. 54 lakh youth have been skilled and re-skilled.
The country is proud that our youth are scaling new heights in sports, the highest ever tally in the Asian Games and Asian Para Games in 2023 shows the confidence of the players.
