Mumbai: On Thursday, the hospital issued a statement indicating the serious condition of Manohar Joshi (86). The seasoned leader of Shiv Sena had been admitted to the hospital in May of the previous year following a brain hemorrhage, and his health had been closely monitored since then.
On Friday, former Chief Minister of Maharashtra and ex-Lok Sabha Speaker, Manohar Joshi, passed away at approximately 3 am in a Mumbai hospital. At 86 years old, he succumbed to cardiac arrest after being admitted to the hospital. Sources reveal that Joshi was transferred to the ICU of PD Hinduja Hospital on Wednesday prior to his passing, where he spent his final moments in a private medical facility.

In its Thursday statement, the hospital announced that Manohar Joshi (86) was in a critical condition. The seasoned Shiv Sena leader had previously been hospitalized at the same facility in May of the preceding year following a brain hemorrhage.

Manohar Joshi’s political journey epitomized a trajectory of significant milestones. Beginning with his tenure in the Legislative Council representing the Shiv Sena, spanning from 1972 to 1989, Joshi swiftly rose through the ranks.
